Please, for the love of the movement, stop making it sound like Libertarianism is the only way. You have to remember all parties are welcome and respected here.

Although, I do believe Libratarians are true believers in the American Dream, which I hold in high regard. I do however agree this forum is not to devide into or convince oyjers to join political parties, but rather to educate others, and ourselves on founding principals and liberty. Labels are divisive, and can turn many off. Please, lets shelve them for the purpose of this movement.

People who act with candor and honesty from their own perspective out of respect for themselves and the common good keep this country great!
Right now, the Tea Party movement is showing the way and this forum is practicing the good business we expect from our elected officials.

and. Chevycowboy - I agree this Reagan quote should be our Tea Party Motto:

Isn't that what we're all doing here - teaching our children by example to protect and preserve the U.S. Bill of Rights, Constitution, the Pledge of Allegiance to our Flag?

I love hunting and fishing, I also love the freedom of owning my own gun!

Coyote hunting around my friends dairies, deer and pheasant hunting back in Iowa during school, and fishing at Hume and Shaver lake! I caught my limit this morning at Hume!

If your talking about AB357 then actually that would have been better for people wanting a CCW the way I understand it. It would make the state a "shall Issue" state.

I have had my permit for many years and the local sheriff here is a Shall Issue Sheriff. He feels if your background is clean you have the right to carry and you don't need to come up with some rediculous 3 page good cause statement of why you need a ccw.

AB357 removes the "good cause" part and if you pass the DOJ and FBI background then you are issued a permit.

This will never pass in California because of the Socialist Liberal Left. They seem to think that good responsible people with guns is a dangerous thing.
