Guest Speaker: Peter Friedman
Community Organizing to Win Elections
Historically, Conservatives take the high road competing with Liberals in elections. In short, Liberals always run on ideology, while Conservatives run on accomplishments and experience.
In 1838 the Frenchman, Alexis de Tocqueville, wrote in Democracy in America, “When the public discovers they can vote themselves largess from the public treasury, the [American] experiment will be over.” We have reached the tipping point in that argument. Today in America, over 50% of the population is receiving some payment from the Federal government. The administration of Barack Obama, in just three years, has increased the receipt of food stamps by over 47%, increased Federal unemployment payments extending to 99 weeks, and these are just a few examples of how Obama and the Liberals are buying votes to keep them in office.
To counter the bribing of voters by Liberals with taxpayer money, Conservatives must change how they present themselves when running for election. The new Republican paradigm to win elections must now rely on many of the same strategies and tactics that have been used so
successfully by Liberals for over a generation. This seminar is designed for candidates, their managers, and supporters.
This seminar is presented by the noted lecturer, PETER M. FRIEDMAN. Mr. Friedman has been a regular guest on the KSFO 560 Brian Sussman Show, the Barbara Simpson Show, and on the Jim Franklin Live, Chris Daniels, and Inga Barks shows on KMJ 580. Mr. Friedman is
also a noted lecturer on Napoleon’s strategies and tactics, and has numerous papers published worldwide. Mr. Friedman has lectured on historical subjects for over 40 years.
