UFW & State Disenfranchise Farm Workers

The farm workers at Gerawan Farms voted to have the UFW represent them in 1990. The UFW has been absent until 2012. Now they demand that they represent the workers and collect dues. The contract the UFW is offering has less pay and benefits than what the workers get without the union.

Because of this, the workers have fought to decertify the union. An election was held in November 2013. However, the Agricultural Labor Relations Board is refusing to count the ballots. Please go to the Farm Workers Rights website to see how you can help.
